About Us - Adhyyan Craftsmanship Ltd

Our journey gained momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many women lost their jobs and faced discrimination based on caste or tribe. Some of these women reached out to us, and we began by training them in basic skills like crocheting, painting, stitching, and knitting. Through dedication and hard work, our family grew to include 35 women artisans from diverse backgrounds. Today, they are proficient in creating hand-painted and crocheted products, each crafted meticulously by hand—from the product itself to its packaging.

Our artisans have progressed significantly, from crafting products for homes to exporting handmade goods internationally. Above all, our mission is to give recognition to these talented, yet often unrecognized artisans.

Arisha Rastogi

Our founder, strongly believes that our natural environment is a crucial source of inspiration for creating exceptional works. She completing her schooling she went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Design from NIFT in Mumbai, India, followed by a Master's degree in Strategic Management from Parsons School of Design in New York, USA.

Before starting her own nonprofit organization, she held various creative and marketing roles in both B2B and B2C sectors, including positions at Wizcraft Entertainment. Currently, she serves as the President of the R.S Education Society and is also the Founder of Adhyyan Craftsmanship Limited.
Adhyyan Craftsmanship was born from our founder's realization during her master's research in the textile industry that Indian art and motifs were globally utilized in fashion without recognition of the artists behind them. Her goal was to bridge this gap between artists and consumers.

Recently, she had the honor of being invited as a guest faculty member at Parsons School of Design, New York, and is currently engaged in digital collaborations with them. She found it to be a delightful experience to interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds worldwide.
